Is it legal to post a link on a website going to the picture of a sex offender?

I know it's public information but didn't know if there were rules against it being linked on the net.

Technically, you aren't supposed to harass them. If you did put up a line to someones pic on the web site, you'd be screwing yourself. Unfortunately, the offender has rights.

There must be another way you can get your point across.
